PromArgentina —the Argentine Investment and International Trade Promotion Agency— together with La Rural S.A., Fira Barcelona and COPAL, organizers of the trade show Argentina Alimenta, are pleased to invite you to participate as an international buyer in the B2B matching event that will take place as part of Argentina Alimenta 2026, from November 17 to 19 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Argentina Alimenta is Argentina’s international food and beverage trade show, designed as a meeting place for producers, exporters, importers, distributors, retail, HORECA and key players in the agri-food sector from various markets, with the aim of promoting international trade and creating business opportunities.
The Argentine food and beverage industry is one of the country’s leading productive sectors, characterized by strong exports and the capacity to supply global markets. It accounts for 30% of the manufacturing industrial GDP and offers a diverse range of exportable products, supported by integrated regional value chains across the country.
In this context, PromArgentina will be responsible for coordinating an International B2B Matching Event designed to facilitate pre-scheduled B2B business meetings between international buyers and Argentine companies participating in the trade show, as well as with other companies in the sector specially invited for these meetings.
The event is primarily aimed at importers, distributors, supermarket chains, HORECA, wholesalers and companies in the food sector interested in incorporating Argentine products into their product offerings.
Participating categories: oils and fats, processed foods, rice, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, meat and meat products, condiments and sauces, fruits and vegetables, nuts, candies and snacks, food ingredients, dairy products, legumes, baked goods and bakery products, fish and seafood, gourmet and specialty products.

For participating companies, the invitation may include:
• Economy-class airfare for one (1) representative per company.
• Accommodation for up to four (4) nights at a hotel near the event, including breakfast.

Once the registration period has ended, a curation process will be conducted, considering the buyer’s business profile, stated interests, and how well their needs align with the Argentine products, in order to ensure the quality and relevance of the matchmaking sessions.

Argentina Alimenta es la feria internacional de alimentos y bebidas de Argentina, concebida como un espacio de encuentro entre productores, exportadores, importadores, distribuidores, cadenas de retail, operadores del canal HORECA y referentes del sector agroalimentario de distintos mercados, orientado a promover el comercio internacional y la generación de oportunidades de negocio.
La industria argentina de alimentos y bebidas constituye uno de los principales sectores productivos del país y se caracteriza por su fuerte perfil exportador y su capacidad de abastecimiento a escala global. Actualmente representa el 30% del PBI industrial manufacturero y cuenta con una oferta exportable amplia, diversificada y competitiva, sustentada en cadenas de valor regionales integradas a lo largo de todo el territorio nacional.
En este contexto, PromArgentina tendrá a su cargo la coordinación de la Ronda de Negocios Internacional, destinada a facilitar reuniones comerciales B2B previamente agendadas entre compradores internacionales y empresas argentinas participantes de la feria, así como con otras empresas del sector especialmente convocadas.
La actividad está dirigida principalmente a importadores, distribuidores, cadenas de supermercados, operadores del canal HORECA, mayoristas y empresas del sector alimentario interesadas en incorporar productos argentinos a su oferta comercial.
Rubros participantes: aceites y grasas, alimentos procesados, arroz, bebidas alcohólicas y no alcohólicas, carnes y productos cárnicos, condimentos y salsas, frutas y vegetales, frutos secos, golosinas y snacks, ingredientes alimentarios, lácteos, legumbres, panificados y productos de panadería, pescados y mariscos, productos gourmet y especiales.

Para las empresas que resulten seleccionadas, la invitación podrá incluir:
• Pasaje aéreo en clase económica para un (1) representante por empresa.
• Alojamiento por hasta cuatro (4) noches en hotel cercano al evento, con desayuno incluido.
• Traslados internos vinculados a la agenda de negocios.
• Asistencia durante el desarrollo de las reuniones.
Una vez finalizado el período de inscripción, se realizará un proceso de curaduría, considerando el perfil comercial del comprador, los intereses declarados y la complementariedad con la oferta argentina, a fin de garantizar la calidad y pertinencia de los encuentros.
